Rent to Own Homes With No Credit Check

Golden Path Homes does not run a credit check on any buyer. There is no bank, no mortgage application and no underwriting: approval comes down to a down payment and steady income. We do not offer rent-to-own. We sell homes on owner financing, where the deed is recorded in your name at closing, so you own the home from day one instead of renting toward an option. 118 homes are available in 24 states. Down payments run from $10,000 to $60,000, and monthly payments from $484 to $5,353.

Why there is no credit check

A bank lends someone else's money and answers to regulators, so it scores every borrower. Golden Path Homes is the seller. We finance the home ourselves, which means we decide what matters, and what matters is whether you can make the payment. A buyer who shows up with the down payment and a paycheck has already proven more than a credit score can. A bank denial, a past bankruptcy, a foreclosure or a thin file with no history at all is never pulled, so none of it counts against you.

What we check instead

Buying a home takes a down payment and steady income. Down payments on the homes available today run from $10,000 to $60,000. There is no credit check.

Steady income that covers the monthly payment: W-2 wages, self-employment, 1099 contract work and cash income all count, and our team does a basic verification of what you earn. That is the whole qualification. If the down payment feels like a stretch, do not count yourself out: tell our team what you have and we will talk through what works for your situation.

How the purchase is protected

No credit check does not mean no paperwork. You sign a purchase agreement and a promissory note, a title company runs title and records the deed, and a loan servicer documents every payment. What you skip is the part that takes a bank thirty to sixty days.

Rent to own with no credit check vs. owner financing

Some rent-to-own and lease-to-own programs skip the credit check and some do not. Either way you rent first and own later, if you exercise the option. With owner financing you own first.

No credit check questions

Can I rent to own a home with no credit check and no down payment?

No. There is no credit check, but a down payment is required on every home, because the deed is recorded in your name at closing and the down payment goes into a home you own. Down payments on the homes available today run from $10,000 to $60,000. If what you have feels short, tell our team anyway: the amount you put down and the monthly payment move together, and we would rather talk it through than have you count yourself out.

Are there rent to own homes near me with no credit check?

Golden Path Homes sells owner-finance homes with no credit check in cities across the country. Right now Golden Path Homes has 118 homes in 24 states. Pick your city in the list above: each city page shows the homes inside its own area with the down payment and monthly payment on every one. If your city is not listed, leave your name and number and our team will reach out when a home opens up near you.

Is lease to own with no credit check the same thing?

Lease to own, lease purchase and rent to own are the same arrangement under different names: you pay an option fee and rent, and you own the home only if you exercise the option later. Owner financing from Golden Path Homes is different. The deed is recorded in your name at closing, through a title company, and a third-party company services the loan. There is no credit check either way with us, and no years of renting first.

What if I have bad credit, a bankruptcy or a foreclosure?

It does not matter here. Nobody pulls your report, so a low score, a recent bankruptcy, a foreclosure, a short sale or a bank denial last month is never part of the decision. Bring the down payment and show the income, and you are approved.

Does no credit check mean a higher interest rate?

No. The rate is fixed from 2.5% to 8% depending on the home, for the life of the agreement, and it is the same whether your credit is excellent or nonexistent. Every listing shows its own down payment and monthly payment before you call.

Will Golden Path Homes ever pull my credit later?

No. There is no credit pull at any point: not at approval, not at closing, not during the loan. The servicer documents your payments, but Golden Path Homes makes no promise that they are reported to the credit bureaus.
